There’s a package in the office

(a quiet room with tv on mute, only occassional clicks on laptop keyboard. It was 6pm in the evening)

Mommy : Aaahhh… finally some quiet time in the house *thought to herself*
She carries on working on some web codes on her computer, sipping coffee and all

Suddenly a muffled yell came from the master bedroom. Aaaarrrrrrhhhh….. Rrraaaahhhh…. Glglglaaahhhh…..

Mommy blinks. Checks the clock on the computer. 6:15 PM. ” Are you kidding me? “
She goes back to her codes. Pretends doesn’t hear a thing, but now quietly clicking on the computer keyboard trying not to wake the baby even more.

The muffled yell carries on, getting longer vocals now – and louder too. She just discovered her vocal chords. Great! The yell now resembles Tarzan & Jane’s mating calls. Mommy tries harder to concentrate ” …… sidebar ul dot children { …. next line…. border : none; } next line….. SHUT UUUUPPPP!”

Now the cat is getting curious, pushes the master bedroom door open and peeks in curiously. The yell turns into a scream with occasional giggles. For heaven’s sake, Briana. SHUT UP! Mommy’s css codes are now jumbles up, she lost her lines. Sh*t!!!

Mommy grabs a pen, scribbles something on a piece of paper. Goes into the room, wraps the baby, puts her in a bouncer chair. Walks into Daddy’s office and leaves the baby there with a note attached.

Daddy is on his evening walkaround the hotel. After a while, Daddy comes back. There were giggles and sound of camera clicks from his office. Ten minutes later, baby decides to practice on Tarzan’s mating calls again.
“Very nice, Briana. Mommy’s going to pick you up again now….”

A reply came from the other room “No, she doesn’t ……… ! “
