Experimenting with monochrome photos can be quite fun. I really enjoyed the feature found in my D90 plus a kickass image processing program. Whoo-hoo!

A quick roundup for this week:

I managed to survive without babysitter for 8 days now which is quite an achievement for me

I lost another 2 kg and still going – means that I’m back to my pre-pregnancy weight, just need to tone those flabs a bit

I have to stop any photo or baking project ( it’s almost impossible to have a quiet time in the shower, doing hobbies is absolutely out of the question)

Talking about photo project, yesterday I got a surprise call from a modeling agency in Shanghai. I don’t usually get calls from china numbers unless it’s a wrong number. So I was a bit surprise the lady in the other end spoke perfect English, telling me that she’s from an agency and they would like to have Briana for a photo audition for a magazine (with possibility for TV commercial) tomorrow. I quickly said “Yes, of course. When?”  Wow!!!  The little girl seems to have her ways going back into the spotlight.

The apartment is an absolute mess. I give up cleaning up or picking up toys, they’ll just end up all over the place again. Overtime being a mom, I learn to live with the mess and walking around without tumbling over her toys. The beauty of living in the hotel, I can always ask the help from housekeeping department in time of need. T’yeah!

I still cook homemade food for the baby who still has great appetite and eats quite a lot, but she totally refuses milk bottle now. No more milk during nap time. I started with full cream milk about a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t work as good as I expected. She won’t take it plain. At the moment, I mix a bit of tea in her milk, just for the flavor to get her to drink it. I tried all flavors before, strawberry, chocolate, anything…  you name it. Nothing works! And one morning, she had a tiny sip of my English tea which she seemed to like instantly. So, there you go.
