While daddy is getting busy preparing for his business trip next week, mommy is listing down places to go and friends to meet – trying to fill up her agenda for the entire week. One week is a long time to be away, especially this is the first time for Briana to be separated from daddy.
After a long search for the new Barney dvds, I finally found a mom who has many of them and she’s willing to sell them because her kids have outgrew Barney a long time ago. Barney series is quite hard to find in China. We managed to add another 3 dvds when we visited Dubai a while ago. I placed some bids here and there for second-hand Barney dvds through an online trading community. I also google it to find Barney torrents to no luck (yeah, tell me who would torrent Barney anyway?). The problem is, we need the new ones now because some of the dvds we have started to skip a lot . Also, I’ve had enough watching and listening to the same episode again and again and again. I just find it disturbing when Barney, Baby Bop and BJ start showing up in my dreams. Briana doesn’t seem to mind much though.

I may be going back to the art street again one of this day. I’ve gotta try the Vietnamese Pho there and take more shots. Seems like I’ve missed so many interesting spots the last time I went there. Oh, I’ll also be going to the photography market as well to get some filters and check on the price on 50 mm f/1.4 *rubbing hands together* Hope daddy doesn’t mind…..
Picures above were taken yesterday in Jinqiao area where daddy took us to a sport bar to watch a rugby match – NZ/SA. I find it quite strange that most sports bars in Shanghai are quite kids friendly. I’ve seen many families would go there taking their toddlers and babies in strollers. While all the daddies gather around the screen watching sports, mommies would be ordering food for their kids and let toddlers roam around or put their babies on a billiard table – like what I did there. It was great fun for babies watching the balls roll around the table. Briana would yell happily everytime we make her push a ball across the table hitting the other balls. It’s so funny. Sounds almost like a long sentence “Wajabababudabajajaba…” and then giggles.
Yesterday’s temperature was particularly hot. Felt like sitting in front of full blast oven, so hot and humid. Bri couldn’t handle the heat well. I thought it was a good idea taking her out in the stroller so she’ll fall asleep after playing. But nope, it was way to hot for her. Although she didn’t sound any protest at all, later that evening I found so many heat rash in her body. Poor little thing. She just can’t handle heat at all. Sensitive skin. That’s definitely something she gets from daddy.

Hi briana, cantik juga ya briana pake qipao, bri udah kaya gadis kecil, pake jepit rambuit, gelang dan giwang. Cantik sekali. Kaka. apa bedanya qipao ama cheongsam, ya.
Foto2 hitam putih bagus banget,itu namanya apa ya, satu foto jadi beda2 hasilnya. Pinter banget kak.
Tapi difoto hitam pitih yg pertama kenapa ya briana keliatan seperti pake lipstik , tapi yg pasti briana keliatan kaya gadis cina beneran, padahal dua foto biru2 itu keliatan bulenya. Wuuuu dadddy bangga ya.
Katanya sih Cheongsam itu bahasa cantonese – tapi di china mainland biasanya cheongsam buat baju cowo. Kalo baju cewe namanya qipao.
Haluuuuu baby Bri, udah besar sekali lama ga mampir kesini. Tante baca giginya udah banyak ya, udah bisa makan apa aja cantik?
